19. Bloom Nodes & Angel Comb (Aksum Vision)
Clear all bloom nodes and gain the Aksum Vision adaptation from the Angel Comb.
After crafting the Feedback Resonator, use the Scanner Station to filter for Bloom Infestation. Stock up on Medkits.
Bloom Node 1
First, head to the node closest to the Alien Ruins Research Outpost.
The Feedback Resonator fires at range. Node petals close when you approach — aim and fire while petals are open from a distance. Hit the purple sphere inside. Clear all purple flowers to restore the node.
Bloom Node 2
Go to the Angel Comb signal marker, then look SW 245. Spot a tentacle on the ground — follow it.
When the path ends, go up and keep following the tentacle.
At the tentacle fork, follow the right tentacle.
When the path ends again, climb over the rock wall to find the bloom node on the other side.
Bloom Node 3
Return to where you got Black Box - Singer. Follow the pink light NNE about 380m to the Mingchan wreck (Stairway to Heaven). ~500m from the Angel Comb.
The entrance is blocked by bloom virus — use the Feedback Resonator to clear it.
Enter, turn left, follow the corridor to the end for the bloom node. (Mezzanine room has High Capacity Tank blueprint. The right ceiling corridor also has a High Capacity Tank blueprint.)
Angel Comb (Aksum Vision)
Return to the Angel Comb location. Follow the tentacles and clear 2 nearby purple flowers to heal it. Then interact with the big purple sphere to gain Aksum Vision adaptation.
Note: There’s plenty of Atacamite near the Angel Comb tentacles. Mine at least 10 with the Resonator — needed later.
