20. Repair the Power Plant & Observatory (Main Story End)

Repair the Power Plant Turbines

Go to the Angel Comb location and look up. Earlier, you downloaded a log on the upper disc about needing to repair the power plant turbines. Scan the round head at the bottom of the disc for a Hot Water Pipe.

Scan the disc at the gap with the Bio Scanner to see required materials. Open the Habitat Builder to check the full list.

Repair materials (craft in Processor):

• Titanium Ingot ×10 (30 Titanium)
• Strontium ×10 (20 Celestite — find locations via Scanner Station)
• Manganese Alloy Ingot ×10 (30 Titanium, 10 Atacamite, 10 Meteoric Iron)

Total: Titanium×60, Celestite×20, Atacamite×10, Meteoric Iron×10

Atacamite is found near the Angel Comb on the ground. Meteoric Iron is at the Metal Farm near Black Box - Xi Dama 2.

Return with materials and use the Habitat Builder to repair.

Enter the Triangle Compartment

After repairs, return to the Angel Comb purple sphere. Look SE 150 — spot a glowing triangular compartment on the rock wall. Enter through the side door.

Inside, face the glass side. Find the control panel: first touch the pink handprint, then touch the pink sphere (turns white). PDA prompt — “Hot water is flowing into the turbine. Find the main control system to restart the power plant.”

Main Control Room

Return to the repaired disc. Look toward the rock wall directly opposite the gap. Find the main control room and enter through the side entrance.

Download the log from the box. Three control consoles: Left, Center, Right. Activate Left and Right first, then Center.

Left/Right consoles: Press the handprint to start. On the right console, toggle all pink positions to green (touch pink indicator, move to yellow triangle position). Then press the pink glowing button in the center. Ensure all screen patterns are green.

If the left console won’t activate, check that the switch in the compartment near the Angel Comb is turned on — otherwise a pink triangle warning appears.

Center console: When both sides are green, press the handprint, then touch the pink sphere (turns white). The generator restarts.

PDA confirms: “Power restored.” Return to the Alien Ruins Research Outpost.

Head to the Observatory

Look SW 225. Spot a metal structure with a pink light. Head toward it.

From the pink light, turn south. See a tall pillar ahead — head toward it to find a green-glowing Rosetta Stone.

Use the Bio Scanner on the Rosetta Stone to unlock Aksum Translation Ability. Now scanning yellow glowing symbols in the alien ruins area reveals their meaning.

From the stone, look NW 315 along the platform extension. Spot another pink light — follow it left.

Continue along the circular building. Find a protruding doorway — that’s the Observatory entrance. Drive the Tadpole straight in.

Inside the Observatory

Translate yellow glowing symbols near the entrance with the Bio Scanner. In the center hall, interact with the mechanism to open the front door.

Inside, scan the large central sphere — Planetarium. Translate yellow glowing symbols around it for story context.

Return to Base

After scanning, return to base and interact with the NoA terminal. Select Distance to Earth → Yes. PDA updates with information about needing to travel to the World Tree’s roots.

The World Tree is the giant creature visible on the horizon, even from the starting lifepod.

Note: The developers have not yet released the World Tree story content. The EA main story ends here for now.
